IT’S A WEAPON OF MASS CREATION
Thanks luv :)
Time to hunt down the decaf teas !
Also I was reminded to make a list of things to worry about after sleeping, and someone else promised to call this morning to be sure I got up, and everyone has been really supportive (sometimes I forget I need that).
All the thanks :)
- vespertimes answered: I think it’s a good price! Adjust as you go along if you please. You’re selling a nice product!
So, I should put my contact info on the tags, and display-group them by price, with a couple extra price card tag things so I can change them if I need to? This is helpful plan. Many thanks.
Also thank you for compliment :)
I totally forgot to print business/crafter cards while I was at work.
I don’t have a personal sign, price list, or tags made.
I think I’ll work with an 8-10-12 pricing, and add a dollar for special ones. Because that seems etsy-consistent and within my comfort range.
I think I’m lucky that I have an email address for crafting, even if no one knows it yet.
And that I’ll only be writing out 24 tags by hand.
I’ve asked my friends if anyone has a dice-related tshirt (I know at least one does) that I could borrow for the weekend to wear or wrap around a pillow to display for flavor.
I have to go find the price tags I do have.
I have to get my car emptied of the daily crap I cart around, and pack in the stuff for the craft fair.
I have to dig up my display tools, whatever I decide to use.
And I have to go to sleep -Now- because dayjob demands my presence soonly.
Hi, nerves. I was wondering when you’d kick in.
So I’ve made 20+ dice bags. A few similar ones I’ve made have sold for ~$10 each from a game shop. Mom suggested a couple of price points (small/medium/large for $5/8/10) since this will be at a craft fair / cookie walk to support my alma mater middle school & its band.
Small = the orange, pink/multi, & grey in the front - About the size to fit around a soda can.
Medium = the tan, tan/blue, red, minion ones. Probably fit over a 20oz bottle base, but pretty standard dice bag size.
Large = the grey/blue, blue, green camo. Definitely wide enough to go around the base of a 1-liter bottle or an entire mug.
There are a few ‘specialty’ ones that have different techniques tried on them. These will probably be a dollar more than their size point.
Ex: a medium size with a craft foam base instead of yarn (left, next to Knitche bag), a large made out of specialty yarn (next to that one), a large made out of construction vinyl tape (the line of color they put across the driveway to keep you off it after resurfacing) (it’s white and in the upper right hand corner), the minion bag - medium, with beads.
The one with the white bow is mine, is full of my dice, and will probably not come out that day because it is mine :) I would consider it a medium; it contains 44 vairous-sided dice, one slightly larger d20, one LEGO figure, and a rock. It takes me two hands to hold everything at once that this little bag contains.
tl;dr: Crafters, gamers, interested parties, (without knowing my audience yet (because this is my first craft show)) does this seem like a fair plan?

Slime mold was grown on an agar gel plate shaped like America and food sources were placed where America’s large cities are.
The result? A possible look at how to best build public transportation.
I just really like the idea of slime mold on a map of the US. It’s beautiful.
I have a raging science ladyboner right now.

I told a friend that I’m asexual. Once I rephrased myself to explain that I’m not sexually attracted to anyone, she just said “Well, that fits.” Apparently I’m not a person she ever even thinks about as being in a relationship with anyone — and as long as she’s known me, that has been the case.
I then proceeded to crack her up as I mentioned not knowing what the hell “hot” meant (I still don’t), and that no part of me has ever thought “I’d tap that” - she laughed so hard precisely because they are phrases I would normally never use.
I then proceeded to tell her about finding this shirt on DavidsTea.com and not knowing if it was because there are similar designs elsewhere that say ‘girls’ or ‘boys’ combined with me being ace and a tea-fan and this one saying ‘tea is hot’ — or if it’s just because it was 2 am when I stumbled across it.
As it’s now 1120pm, I agree with my previous self and find the design hysterical. *Adds to wishlist*
